The School

Sree Vivekananda Memorial Public School (SVMPS), situated in the sylvan surroundings of Aralummoodu, was established in 1984 under the Tagore Educational Trust. The founder chairman of the school was Padmasree Dr. Vellayani Arjunan. The school is currently advised and managed by the Chempaka Group under the chairmanship of Mr. V. N. P. Raj. Our chairman is driven by the purpose of bringing social grace to the world through quality education. His vision and dreams are reflected in our school motto — “Where Every Child Matters.” SVMPS believes in enhancing the intellectual and creative potential of students through joyful learning.

Students are provided with optimum opportunities to develop their creative potential, free from the hassles and worries associated with admission to higher classes. The school has well-equipped smart classrooms, a computer lab, science and mathematics laboratories, and a full-fledged library with a reading room. It also has qualified and experienced teachers and an automated student profiling system through which students’ progress and achievements can be monitored at any time, enabling timely diagnosis and remedial measures whenever required.

The Senior Secondary Division of SVMPS is well equipped to cater to the requirements of Science, Computer Science, and Commerce streams with the support of a team of qualified, competent, and dedicated teachers.
