DISCIPLINE

  1. Every student of the school is expected to be courteous in speech and behavior at all times. Students are expected to rise from their seats when a teacher or visitor enters the classroom.
  2. Students should always maintain proper queues while waiting to enter the bus or use the washing area.
  3. Classrooms are strictly meant for study and should not be used as recreation rooms.
  4. Every student should bring the textbooks and notebooks required for the classes. No books or periodicals other than school books may be brought to school.
  5. All assignments should be completed regularly and submitted as instructed by the teacher.
  6. Indiscipline will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
  7. The uniform must be clean, well-pressed, and complete at all times. Students coming to school in untidy uniforms will be denied entry to the classroom.
  8. The school premises should always be kept neat and tidy.
  9. Pupils suffering from contagious or infectious diseases are not permitted to attend classes. Cases of such illness should be reported to the Principal or Vice Principal.
  10. Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings. The school will not be responsible for any lost items.
  11. Any damage caused to school property or to the belongings of other pupils must be compensated for by the student concerned.
  12. Pupils of one class or section are not allowed to enter another class, even during intervals.
  13. All students are expected to speak in English at all times, both at school and on the school bus.
  14. Every student is expected to take an active part in co-curricular activities such as games, sports, literary associations, educational tours, picnics, etc., organised by the school.
  15. The Management reserves the right to request parents to withdraw their wards from the school if the behavior or conduct of the parent or ward goes against the discipline, culture, and ethics of the school campus.
  16. Students should not bring mobile phones, CDs, video games, or similar items to the school campus. If such items are found, they will be confiscated and will not be returned.

ATTENDANCE

  1. Parents should ensure that their wards do not remain absent except under unavoidable circumstances, as it adversely affects the progress of the pupil.
  2. A minimum attendance of 80% is required for promotion to the next higher class. Irregular attendance and prolonged absence may lead to the removal of the student from the school rolls.

SCHOOL ASSEMBLY
Classes begin with assembly and prayer. All students are expected to attend the school assembly regularly.

LEAVE
A student may be granted leave by the principal. The leave application should be submitted to the school on the same day or, at the latest, by the following day, duly signed by the parent or guardian. Leave will not ordinarily be granted during tests and examinations except in emergencies. A medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner must be produced along with the leave letter in cases of prolonged absence due to illness extending beyond five days. A corresponding entry should also be made in the school diary regarding the leave.
Parents or guardians should note that continued unauthorised absence of their wards for a period exceeding ten days, without informing the school or applying for leave, may result in the removal of the student’s name from the rolls. Readmission will be granted only if a vacancy exists.

SCHOOL FEES
School fees should be paid on or before the 5th of every month. Defaulters will incur a fine of ₹100 for the first month and ₹500 thereafter if payment is not made within the specified instalment period.
